In order for children to achieve mental wellness, partnerships among different groups are essential. While parents, schools, society and friends have always been the foundation for children, greater recognition and support of these collaborative efforts is needed

 

Project Aim:

  1. Provide psychological screening to students in Hong Kong to identify at-risk individuals of different needs and urgency for assistance
  2. Provide interventions for marginal cases and training of peer guardian angels for mentally healthy students

Project Deliverables

  • Peer ‘Guardian Angel’ Training
      –  Train meantally healthy students to support peers in need
      –  Prevent severe mental health issues
      –  Promote Positive Psychology in school
  • Parent-Teacher Training
      –  Raise awareness and sensitivity of parents and teachers 
      –  Early identification of mental health issues

          ^ Depression
          ^ Early Psychosis
